Janus went into the Dancing Dove with a plan, he didn't even stop to flirt or have a drink. If his plan were to work, he would need it to happen now. He went straight to the Rogue table by the fire, and located Ariana, the Queen of the Rogues, at the head of the table.
He gave his respect by bowing, before taking the seat next to her. "I have a whim to ask of you." He asked calmly, knowing he had done many favors for her, and had asked none of her before in the 7 years he had known her. He waited for her to answer, and bowed to Jarren at her side, knowing he would listen whether or not he participated.
Janus didn't mind. If he had wanted to speak to Ariana alone, he would have asked to speak to her privatly before asking the whim of her.

Ariana was listening to the Rogues tell tall tales to each other when she noticed Janus hurridly walk in and and bow to her. Her attention switched as he sat down beside her and asked her a question. Ariana was quick to answer, she didn't need thought. Janus had never asked for anything, and had always helped her out. She lived in style because of him, as did many of the rogues. She wondered when he may come and ask for their help.
"Then ask it, Janus. If it is in my power, I will grant it."

Janus nodded his head in thanks and spoke quickly and quietly.
"Edward of Pirate's Swoop is going to war. And so is Rukan of Pearlmouth. None of the others are going, just them, so they will be the only young children in the entire trip. I want them kidnapped, and held for awhile. Then, I will send a message of what I want done to them."
He waited patiently and excitedly for Ariana to take that all in, and hoped she would be willing to help him.

Jarren watched as Janus entered the Dove, walking quite quickly, compared to how he usually was in the Dove. He sipped on his ale, as the valet headed straight for his table. Where he and Ariana sat. He wasn't surprised when Janus started talking to Ariana, after bowing to the two of them. He wasn't as big a fan of Janus as Ariana. But, he didn't mind him.
He listened to what the two were talking about, knowing that he was welcome to, as they had yet to move away from him. Beside, he was curious to know what 'favour' Janus would be asking of the Queen.

Ariana listened carefully to his words, and noticed from experience that Jarren was listening at her side as well. They tried to rule the Rogues together, is Janus had dragged her into a backroom to say this, she would have consulted Jarren anyway before giving him a straight answer. This way was much easier. All he had to do was to stop them and give his point of view if her wished.
"Go on," She said, intirgued enough to give him a satisfactury smile.

Janus took a deep breath. "You know how you told me a long time ago you have friends in Scanra.? I was wondering if you could contact them, and get them to kidnap both Edward and Rukan, and maybe have some fun with them." He realized that could have sounded muchly like and order.
"That is, of you want to do it." He held his breath and waited, wondering if Ariana would approve, wondering if Jarren would approve enough to allow Ariana pull such a stunt with the backing of a Rogue. This was all very uptight right now.

Jarren frowned slightly as he listened. Have two nobles kidnapped, that part he had no trouble with. But he wondered why. What was it Janus wanted by this. It was a simple enough request, unless the Rogues were identified, leading to the knowledge that the Corus Rogues were involved, which would mean that the Provost would be after all and any Rogues, taking in and out any that could be found or caught.
He looked at Ariana, he would see what Ariana thought then he would speak, it was afterall a request to her. And Jarren was pretty sure that Ariana would think the same way he did on this.

If there was anything Ariana had for Janus, it was a soft spot. She could very well send one of her rogues to go and lead a whole bunch of scanran rogues to kidnap the two children, but she ran the risk of endangering the rogues here. No, she could not send someone stupid, it would not go very well if they got caught. If she was even to attempt such a thing in short notice, it had to be done right.
She was curious though, what motivation would drive such a man to want this? She couldn't help herself but wonder what sort of thing could have happened to him to make him want this so badly, so before giving an answer, which she was already calculating through her head, she had to ask.
"Why?" She kept her face completely blank, as if she was trying to be judgememntal.
