Kiran entered the Dancing Dove, and was automatically met with hungry eyes on her frame. Women here looked angry that she had taken their men's attention away from them, but Kiran was automatically met with recognition.
These men were rogues. She could see it, and smell it. She took a seat near the far corner of the place, near the fire, and warmed her aching bones. The innkeeper visited her, and after learning that money was no object, Kiran was secured a very good room in the Inn. She would have it no other way.
She asked for a light meal and some ale, and was brought just that. She sat at her table and ate and watched the fire at the exact same time. Or at least, that is how it would seem to others. Actually she swept the room a few times shadily with her eyes, scanning an taking in every weapon, man, and possibly women, in the room. Her mind calculated all the ways she could possibly be harmed or taken by surprise, and her mind also came up with a two second counter attack.
A simple meal turned to a small form of attack planning.

Jarren watched as a young woman entered the Dove. She was extremely attractive, and though her entrance wasn't dramatic or anything of the sort, it drew the attention of almost every man's eye. And the King was certainly no exception. She was fairly tall, but not lanky. She had curves in all the right places, and as a young man, Jarren could appreciate that. Not that he was one to take lovers on a whim.
Though as she walked over to a seat near the fire, which surprisingly enough was near where he was sitting, he knew that she was not just another pretty face. She was trained in fighting, and judging from her posture she wasn't one to shy away from it.
He chuckled slightly under his breath, though she was facing towards the fire, he was close enough to see her eyes moving around the room, taking everything in. She was certainly getting more fascinating by the mere second.
He leaned back in his chair, smirking, not looking away from as he signalled for another drink. He was wondering what she would do next, as someone sitting so closely, looking at her blatantly was bound to get a reaction.

A man quite near to her signaled for another drink. That was a signal of authority in the room. And he was watching her. It had caught her attention earlier as attraction, but now she recognized the look as intrigue. He was searching her, as she was searching the room.
She pretended to take notice of him, for she had been studying the fire before supposedly, and did a short nod of her head.
"Do you like what you see, sir?" She said lowly to him, lifting an eyebrow a little.

Jarren watched as the young lady turned her head so that she was looking at him. He smirked and returned the nod with one of his own. When she nodded like that, it emphasized her long neck... he gave himself a mental shake, he couldn't be womanizing at a moment like this! He forced himself to focus.
He accepted his drink from the 'waitress' that brought it to him, not bothering to give her a tip of any sort. She got enough from others and she wasn't much of a waitress she was more of a sleeper.
Jarren couldn't help but chuckle at the beauty acrross from him's question. "Is that a rhetorical question miss?"

He nodded back to her. A gesture of respect, though she wasn't sure about the smirk.
She took a sip of her ale, and smiled.
"I suppose it would depend on whether or not I like your answer."

He took a sip out of his tankard, and then placed it on the table beside him. It was nice to have something to drink.
He watched as she drank some more of her ale. She certainly knew how to... d**n it! I never have these problems!! He He reaverted his eyes casually to her face.
"Well, I must say that I do." He paused, his eyes raking over her, "Every inch of it."
((This gets less awkward everytime!))

"Good. That was an answer you shall not regret." She smiled again, and took another sip of ale.
She pushed her food to the side, and offered the man a seat next to her.
"May I now with whom I speak?" She asked quickly, leaning over the table with intent, arms crossed interestingly.
((Indeed.. Much easier. XD))

Jarren nodded, "I'm glad t' know that."He smirked, she certainly had an attitude, but rather than being annoying as he found most of the ladies around here with over bearing attitudes
He got up, grabbed his tankard and sat down in the seat that she'd offered, though it really was his seat... basically it was thought that all of the seats in the Dove were his.
He raised an eyebrow, and she spoke with perfect diction. "Jarren. And you are?"
((Dang it I forgot about diction!!!))

Kiran held back a laugh. If only he knew how much she meant that. Many a man had become very badly hurt by telling her the opposite.
She watched him walk over and sit, noticing his height, build, and looking for any concealed weaponry all in one look, which she was sure he must have seen. But it didn't matter.
"Some call me Kiran. I think that name will do for now." She smiled in a jesting manner, as if the statement were a joke. It wasn't to her, but to others who did not know her position, it was rather witty.
"And what do you do, Jarren?"
((So did I! Oh well, too late for me to fix it!))

Jarren took a another drink from his tankard, it wasn't often that he found someone who had the right type of knowledge and skill. One that wasn't too obvious to your average person.
He nodded, Kiran... like him she'd not said a last name. Which was a smart thing. He chuckled at her next question, it was one that most tended not to ask. Especially seeing as no rogue would just give up their proffession. Especially the Rogue.
"Let's just say that I'm a collector of a multitude of things." He grinned, showing his teeth. "And how about you Kiran? What do you do?"

Kiran automatically understood what he meant by collecting a multitude of things. He was a rogue, and she was in the right place. You say the right type of things to the right people, you know what they are in a manner of seconds. Anyone else would have thought he was an art dealer or something.
"I am similar to you, though I collect lives." To a rogue, that would have automatically said "Assassin." To anyone else: Bard.
A very good looking bard for a very good looking art dealer. Only in a perfect world.

Jarren nodded, he had wondered if Kiran would be able to tell what he had been saying, and it was good to know that she did. It meant that the talking, if they did much more, would be a bit more relaxed, though there was always a risk talking to others.
He raised an eyebrow, an assassin. That was a rare thing to find these days. "Are y' wonderin' around collecting, or settlin' in one spot to collect from that area?"
Kiran would be an asset if she was staying in the area. Though he would then have to learn how loyal she could be, before he would be willing to reveal his 'true' position.

Kiran smiled. He understood, which made him a rogue.
"I wish to settle in a spot. I have been travelling for far to long. I have had my eye on this great city for a long time." Kiran was glad. She had found the Rogue Headquarters. A home.

Jarren nodded, glad that she was staying in the area. She was a rarity in the City. Female assassins were nearly unheard of, males weren't as inconspicuous as the females.
He grinned, "Well, I'm sure that y'll be able to fin' work around her. The Dove's always lookin' for new people t' work 'round here."

Kiran grinned back, "Then I shall stay around here. Who would I speak to?"
Kiran had to admit, she had noidea who she would speak to. Damin was easy. He had no idea about rogues and assassins, so all she had to do was become theatrical for a bit. It's a little harder when you simply walk in and ask a rogue to basically take you to his leader. They're kind of secretive that way.
