Appearance: Levi has night black hair, like that of his father and mother, though its texture is more like his father's hair. He has a goatee. His eyebrows are fuzzy, but not overly so and he doesn't have a unibrow.
Levi's eyes are a deep chocolate brown, warm, yet able to go cold when he's mad. His skin is tanned, more like his father than his mother who has pale skin. He stands at 6'0".
Personality: Levi can be a very tricky person to understand. He tries to be honest and open, but knows that he isn't always able to be so. As such he is always switching between honesty and half truths, though he is always honest with his friends and family, or at least as honest as he dares.
Being the first born son and heir to the Tortall throne, Levi has expectations that he is forced to try and live up to. Meaning that he can't allow his slight temper to ever control his actions, not unless he wants to get lectured for hours.
Levi is extremely loyal to his friends and family, possibly loyal to a fault. He can be extremely stubborn when he gets an idea, like a dog with a bone.
Levi also has a way of inspiring loyalty in others, and has a strong commanding pressence. Which goes with his leading abilities.
History: Levi was born to Thayet and Jonathon of Conte, the King and Queen of Tortall. He's the oldest, and only, son, and has spent most of his life preparing and learning on how to be a knight and, even more importantly, a good king.
As a child he spent a lot of time playing with his younger sister, Annie. Whether it was 'swordfighting' or tag, they were inseperable. They got along well and understood each other more than anyone else that they knew. But he knew that their closeness would be lost the minute he joined the pages. And as such he tried to slightly seperate them, as he wanted Annie to suffer as little as possible from the seperation.
At the palace he quickly made friends with Bob of Olau and Aiden of Naxen, both pages that joined in the same year as him, and boys that he'd known at least slightly from them coming to the palace.
His life as a page and squire was fairly uneventful, though he did see some interesting things as he travelled around the country as a squire.
Now a new knight, Levi reveals in the slight freedom this has given him, though he finds that he can't stray too far from the palace without either telling his father and mother where he's going or bringing someone older who has more experience than him along.
Rp sample: Levi walked into the stables, a frown slightly creasing his forehead. The palace was boring and there had been whisperings of a war with Scanra for a considerable amount of time. Not something that any of them wanted. Though Levi couldn't help but wonder if he would go.
He neared his horses stall, the creases disappearing slightly, as he saw his trusty steed there, looking at him impatiently. He chuckled, "Impatient aren't you?" Though he knew that no answer would come from Black Dawn, at least not one that he could hear.
He grabbed the required equipment and started to saddle the pure black horse. He knew that he couldn't be out for too long. His presence was required in four hours, apparently his father needed to talk to him. He could only suspect that it had to do with the war. The furrow in his brow came back again. This would screw up all of their lives, but right now he wasn't going to worry. He was going to go riding.
